What is the Disconnection Alert Delay Function?

Sometimes Disconnection Alerts can happen when you have not left your keys or valuables behind.   This is because sometimes bluetooth signals can be disrupted by other things, like physical obstacles or radio signal interference.

The Disconnection Alert delay is a setting which prevents the disconnection alert from sounding until  a certain user set delay period has passed (5 – 30 seconds).

We are one of the few companies that offer this.  We have created this function  because in certain locations, particularly indoors, obstacles and radio signal interference can momentarily block the Bluetooth signal, causing a disconnection alert to fire when you don’t need it.

The Delay prevents this alert sounding until the MyTag has been continuously disconnected for the delay period.

The result - less unwanted false alerts.
